Well done to Reddam u19 girls who won the prestigous St Peter's tournament in JHB over the weekend !!!!! They beat St Mary’s 3-1 in the semi and Stirling 6-5 in the final.

Mark Evans, the coach, said "I’m really proud of the girls. They came back from 1-4 down. Pulled it back to 4-4 and then scored with about 25 seconds left in the 4th chukka to go 5-4 up. Stirling then earned a penalty to draw 5-5 with 12 seconds left in the chukka. 1st period of extra time no score. With less than 30 seconds in the 2nd period of extra time, we scored to go 6-5 ahead. Stirling called a time out, we managed to win the ball back from them with about 8 seconds left and maintained possession to the end. Team showed a lot of courage and character."

Carey Naidoo was named Best Defender; Nicci James, Best Goalie and Carey Singer was selected for the tournament team.  The Reddam team also won the Gus Pinker Fair Play Trophy.
